The conditions for the new almond harvests – today – are good, but it is not a certain fact.
All origins – especially California – are about to complete the blooms in optimal situations
with mild temperatures and long periods of intense bee work.
Just about everywhere the “bees” factor is important, but in California it is even more important for the development of crops.
To clarify, even in optimal conditions, if the bees are not working well, the harvest could be compromised.
Spain has benefited from a very favourable temperature; Italy – for what matters – also; but it creates the strong risk on a return of the cold weather most likely throughout March and also early April. Indeed, for us it is almost certain that the cold weather will return to Spain,both in Italy ; then  damages could become huge.
