Situation of some foreign important crop

At the end of March yields are roughly defined:

In California – in our opinion the harvest should grow regularly between the good and the great record crop – the famous boom crop- having already passed the fateful drought of three seasons with the excellent organization Yankees sipping water between reserves, dams and wells. Some concern for more than normal rains that would hinder a normal pollination. We are quite optimistic, that we expect a great harvest. It ‘difficult from now on will happen series negativity.

 In Spain there are limited reports of damage for frost in the north; by  Larguetas only some harms and  by  biological almonds too. But it seems that the amount does not exceed 15%.

It is evident now  Spain lost the second place in world production of almonds having collected a maximum of 55 / 60,000 tons of shelled while Australia has achieved this year – with the current harvest – the 85,000 tons and  that will increase further  in the coming vintages.
